Overview

Beauty is in eye of the beholder an’ all that, but the 7.4kW, Type 2 Smart PRO doesn’t live up to its name if you are just considering the aesthetics of this charger. However, once you get over the rather brutal design, the Indra does appear to be a smart choice (see what we have done there?). You can choose between an untethered or tethered unit and, if you are feeling particularly saucy, you can opt for the Gulf version, which comes in the iconic Gulf blue and orange colours. It’s got WiFi, 4G or Ethernet connectivity and solar integration. There’s a boost button, three-year warranty and, as much as we have (slightly) criticised the design, you can wrap the cable around the unit tidily, so plenty of function over form.
