Overview

The Rolec Zura is rather large, and there is a reason – there’s two sockets and, you can choose either Type 1 or Type 2 connectivity. Rolec says there is ‘Unlimited Style’ available, which is stretching it somewhat: essentially you can choose between grey, black or white units that, to be fair, look reasonably smart. You wouldn’t describe the Zura as ‘sleek’ but the LED slash on the front zhooshes it up a bit. It’s got 4G, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity and you can choose between a 7.4kW single-phase or 22kW three-phase unit. It uses Monta technology on its app, which is reasonably okay, but not as good as others in terms of the user journey, but you can charge with electricity when it’s at its cheapest or greenest. It has an RFID card for additional security and functionality, and overall, it looks like a decent charger, if a little big.
