Overview

It’s advertised by Tesla as £475 but expect to pay north of £900 after installation. It has a 4 year warranty, is a robust unit and it looks stylish. There’s little in the way of additional functionality: no solar compatibility or dynamic tariff integration to allow you to get access to the very cheapest tariffs so in that respect it’s not much in the way of a bargain. Still you can get it fitted by a Tesla technician through Tesla or you can find a recommended fitter instead. It’s basic, it’ll do you a job and it’ll stand the test of time, but hopefully the next generation will be more accomplished.
