Overview

If it’s hip to be square, then the Zaptec Go is about as hip as you can get. In terms of design, it is simple… and square, but there’s no denying it is smart. It’s worth noting that if the Zaptec Go floats your boat you can install up to three of these units in your home and, because Zaptec is so bullish about its build quality, there is a five-year warranty. The Norwegian company says that because it has 60% fewer parts than other home chargers, there’s less to go wrong. It’s a Type 2, 7.4kW unit, and you can choose from six colours, all of which look decent. It uses an RFID chip, and it features WiFi and 4G connectivity. The app does all the normal stuff: monitor charging and scheduling and it has an Eco mode. No solar integration, however.
