No obligation

A couple of photos can save you money

Once you’ve submitted, we may ask for a few quick photos so we can be more accurate:

  1.  Your consumer unit (fuse board)
  2.  Your electricity meter and main fuse
  3.  The wall or area for the charger

Clear photos reduce surprise extra costs and make it easier for the installer to give you a firm price. You can reply to our email with photos if that’s easier.

FAQs

It depends on the charger and your home. Typical installs we see fall between £400 and £550 incl. VAT for a standard install. Longer cable runs or consumer unit work can cost more – your quote will reflect your exact setup.

We’re an independent review and advice site. For installation we work with trusted electricians and suppliers. In some cases we may buy the charger from a wholesaler and arrange the install on your behalf; in others we introduce you directly to an installer.

Yes. If you choose ‘I’m not sure – please recommend’ in the form, we’ll look at your home, tariff and EV and suggest one or two options, with links to our reviews.

Right now we’re focusing on England. If we can’t cover your postcode yet, we’ll let you know quickly.

If you go ahead with a purchase or installation through us, we may earn a margin or referral fee. Our reviews stay independent – we only feature chargers we’d be happy to have on our own homes.
